Engine Vibration

When I speed the vehicle up to 40 kmph on 3rd gear, engine start to vibrate. Any reason for this??

Hyundai accent, 2000, 1.5cc

Hey, how do you know exactly the vibration is coming out of engine? Is it coming only on 3rd gear? or whenever you r around 40?

only on third gear. i mean when the speed is 40 on 3rd gear it comes. but when the speed is 40 on 4th gear no vibration. Im sure its coming from the engin.

is it mild, quite obvious

engine speed will vary on any gear, and at some point you will equal the engine speed while on other gears too. so if it is with the engine alone you should catch it.

if it is only on one gear;

any accident while on the 3rd?

resonance between a damaged tranny and speed

surprisingly it could also be a wheel out of alignment!
