I think they also use a car brand called "Lifaan" or something like that.

Heard somewhere they are the biggest auto producer in China, no idea about safety ratings though

maybe they bought volvo so they can get volvo engineers to install airbags in their cars

mind you, the chinese seem to have some kind of "safety watchdog" and it's seems strange they know about BMW fuel pump problems (http://in.reuters.com/article/idINIndia-50892120100817) but not about cars without airbags :S

(or maybe they only care that the stuff that's in the car works as it should... )
