what do you think about investing on b'new indian vehicles like zen, alto and mautis for rent a car purpose ? please advice

looking at the rental rates for these cars and recent increase of used market value for the same, i don't think it's a bad idea at all.

You can maybe have them in use for 2-3 years and flog them off without loosing a lot of money.

Parts are relatively cheap and now amply available and since somebody else is driving them...no issues about safety, comfort etc etc

On the quality of vehicle, there ARE better options but indian cars might let you offer them to clients at a competitive price.

But all the vehicles you mentioned are more or less in the same category, so you'll be catering to only a limited market (people looking for small sheap cars). If I were you i'd invest in a more diverse product range (small cars, mid-size cars, few luxury cars, and vans and if possible SUVs).

But if you're looking to rent your entire fleet out to a single corporate customer (or a few) who are also looking to rent a whole bunch of similar small cars for thier employees, then i guess the indian cars would be good enough:)
