Don't worry bro. Your wife could drive any car with a cushion. My wife is 4'11" only 3" difference and she drives a Passo and my FD1 with out a cushion.
What I can't beleive is my car odometer was only 15000 km, when I imported it on last October.All the so called documents confirm the milage. It was built in 2007 Oct and has done only 15000 km for 3 years.
I have done 11000 km for last 5 months.
To my knowledge there is no housing at the drving axle. It's one side is connected to gear box and the other side is to the wheel. Which housing you are reffering to?
Starlet was not manufactured after 1999, Since Vitz and Swift are comparitivly new.Better you go for either Vitz or Swift. Out of these two I feel Vitz is better because You may find spares easily and a good second hand market.

Some time back I had a problem with my ek3 lower arm bush and I got replace with a malaysian made bush and the job was done by Waruna at Kesbewa. It was the same story like you said that the agent had the whole arm. After 02 or 03 months same sound came and It was found the bush has partially come out from the housing. At last I happened to put a brand new arm and costed me around 12000 Rs in some where 2000.
I advise you to put the arm instead of bushes for a long lasting solution.
You can buy a 2007 Allion for 4.5 mil. If you cou;d expand your budget by another 3 or 4 lacks you will be able to buy a un reg Civic FD1 1800lt machine for ultimate driving pleasure with all the options like VSA.
This is not applicable for all. My fd1 has no low or high grades but the key is programmed, If you loose , sorry the cost is high. The shop which is advertised on ##### do programming only for some Toyota models only.
Two of my friends bought two VITZ recently and one is 1000cc and the other one is 1300cc. 1300 is better on fuel according to their calculations. Also 100cc one has only 3 cylinders and 1300 one has got 4 cylinder vvt engine.
You can drive the car from the dealer's place to your home with the temporary insurance with chas. no. plates. You are not supposed to drive the vehicle with out registration any way.
Normally Insurance agent will issue you a temporary certificate until you get the car registered. Once the car is registered you can have the insurance certificate.
