  1. Saw a BMW Active Hybrid 5 on the back of a truck this morning. Didn't know they were being imported.

Seen quite a few on the road machan. Was stuck in traffic behind a Black one near Town Hall last week.

  2. Halo. For the PC, probably COD, but I can't give much insight because I mostly play multiplayer.
  3. I've seen the car (mostly in garages) over the years. I have to ask, is it an auto or manual? I always lust after after the auto N/A models for cheap GT cruisers.
  4. So the only thing apple have done is made the screen bigger and the unit slimmer? No wonder they're litigating the crap out of Samsung. I believe for the first time Apple have lost their edge. This is certainly a lot less than what I was expecting. There's no real reason for a 4 user to upgrade this time around.
  5. Well performance wise, they throw enough light to make me not want HID. My car originally had Osrams as well, and I believe they were the factory fitted units since they had much lower light output. I was never able to see the cut off points with the previous bulbs, and now they're very well defined.
  6. While I agree with MD about staving off all the B.S., we do need to take a second look at a post before getting the pitchforks out. We lose nothing by exercising a little patience with first time offenders and n00bs. Obviously there needs to be a line drawn somewhere distinguishing n00bishness and dumbassedness, but all in all I believe we're all a little too quick on the draw when it comes to stereotyping and ostracizing those with certain eccentricities. Just my 0.02 and let the flak begin
  7. Pics are here. Not sure why you didn't see them. They are very much original; off the shelf units from the UK, not the cardboard packaged OEM items. Even the H3s came in blister backs. Bought them from this fellow http://stores.ebay.c...o-Direct?_rdc=1
  8. I know, but their high end Thinkpad (the only model I've used so far) line still maintains with the same functionality, looks and solidness the IBM versions were famous for. I recently got my filthy mitts on an x201 and it still looks and feels like the old x41, right down to the keyboard and the quality of the materials used in the exterior (waiting for SSD and extra 4GB ram to arrive to get an excuse to open it up under warranty).
  9. I would get that Lenovo, simply because I'm an IBM/Lenovo fanboy.
  10. omg, why have you woken up a pointless thread with more pointless banter? srsly, post something entertaining in post whoring if you want to increment your post counts.
  11. Any idea where one can purchase cans of compressed air locally?

My stupid compressor has blown a capacitor :/

    2. Ripper

      Ripper

finding and replacing the cap might be easier mate. i would call robert agencies and check since they are into electronics and stuff

  12. Headlight alignment can easily be done at home, there's no need to waste one's resources on getting it done elsewhere. All you need is a screwdriver/spanner, level ground, and a 4ft wall.
  13. Is the response of the computerized manual transmissions as good as they say it is? I mean was there ever any issue with the power coming even a hair too late i.e. shift delay?
  14. No idea, but most people who own SUVs don't really bother with fuel consumption.
  15. The Rexton is a very good vehicle for what it is. As long as you don't expect it to be a Montero or a Prado, you'll be fine. Lots of extra features plus an extremely plush ride. But be warned, it will not be fuel efficient. If you're picking up a used one, more power to you because the first owner has already borne the bulk of the depreciation, thus giving you a good deal.
  16. Of course, because Initial D is awesome. You should watch the series.
  17. Its the whole circuit. My Vios does the same thing. Two bars when I pull into office, and when I start it up in the evening to go home, flashing indicator.
  18. On the rear of the head lamp assembly, there should be two adjustment screws with indicators embossed on the plastic identifying which is which (x and y axis). Google for optimum headlamp adjustment height, and remember to read the instructions for right hand drive vehicles, not left.
  19. I think you mean when you disengage the clutch, by pressing the pedal. The load is taken off the engine, thus it obviously spins faster, and then settles back down again once the load is applied (clutch engaged after shifting into the next gear). Try letting go of the accelerator when you press the clutch, and then gradually ease on the gas and ease off the clutch to smoothly pick up from the next gear
  20. My former boss has an Aerio, with the 1.6 litre engine, and it never does better than 9 in the city. Are your sure yours is 1.5 and not 1.6? Edit: It was the relatively poor fuel economy coupled with scarcity/cost of parts that dissuaded me from buying one myself. Otherwise, it's a brilliant car and so so comfy even in the rear, plus excellent driving position for the city.
  21. Well they're enforcing it now I believe.
  22. cake. lots of cake. yes.
  23. Are you nucking futs?? Apart from upgrades, the only time rotors are replaced is when either they're too warped or when they're too worn i.e. gone beyond the recommended thickness. And with normal use, that is quite literally years, if not tens of years. I was pretty anal about the brakes in my old van (Townaces have shitty brakes which just get shittier when hot) and even after 330,000kms both rotors still had plenty of material on them.
  24. I remember when Paula consistently wore strapless tops, before she had her baby. Also little bit of trivia; she has a twin. Now thats an oriental sandwich I wouldn't mind being in the middle of. Just saying.
