  1. Haven't seen much of the way in Vios users complaining about rattles and lack of wind their tires and such. Hell my car rattles on any uneven surface, I just ignore it.
  2. Am I to understand the point of this post is that you managed to find it all by yourself? If not, I don't see what relevance it has with DIY.
  3. Bought a Lenovo x201 with docking station. Aiyo salli :/

  4. The Red Vios has returned to the classifieds. The poor bastard is cursed.

  5. I believe back markers are supposed to give way to anyone who is lapping them, the obvious reason being that they're slower than the cars they are being lapped by (obviously). However, a back marker has every right to overtake any car ahead of them if opportunity presents itself, and new for this year, they can unlap themselves when the safety car is out. If overtaking by back markers wasn't allowed, Hamilton's DRS would not have activated. Also I don't remember seeing any blue flags out for Hamilton indicating to him to stay out of the leaders' way.
  6. The lack of basic deductive skills seems to be common among Vitz owners, that much is evident.
  7. Your insurance should cover airbag replacement, just make sure it covers more than 2 airbags.
  8. Depends on the trim e.g XE Saloon, SE Saloon etc.
  9. Your Jeep might possibly use 7 inch circular lamps, which are a common across several different vehicles. If you can verify this, I'm sure you can find a lamp which uses an H4 bulb. Edit: Check out this link
  10. Has anyone bought sound deadener material from SL (Dynamat, Fatmat etc)? If so where from?

i remember seeing some at Pet#o La#ka. Not bulk packs though and they weren't a major brand.

  11. I chose a Pioneer after reading a ton of reviews on this thing called the internets.
  12. Rapid on/off will reduce the lifetime of the ballast, since its working extra hard to stabilize the voltage each time the bulb is ignited. Rapid flashing at traffic is highly discouraged when your high beams are HID. The ignitors are also affected, but to a lesser extent. The shaking of the beam when you see when the car jostles about is due to a loose bulb like stated above. Make sure the clip is seated properly. Also, these bulbs are generic, thus the mounting flange can be removed independently of the bulb. The bulb may have worked itself loose from the H4 flange. The most common reason for this is when we remove the bulb connector, since we normally press against the flange when tugging at the connector.
  13. Whats with the autolanka site? I see part of a new layout before a 500 error.

  14. Can't electroplate non-conductive materials. Nope.
  15. People have a difficult time believing that Thalapathpitiya is pretty much central to Malabe, Maharagama, and Nugegoda, and then the same distance to Rathmalana and Dematagoda.

  16. Sure it can compete, doesn't mean it will win though. And obviously it _should_ have better comfort than your average Maruti Suzuki.
  17. Check the valve stem.
  18. Last night, I sat and watched as my mother murdered two perfectly good bratwursts because there were no sausages to put into the noodle stir fry. I think I might have wept.
