  1. now thats a cynical 3 wheel bugger, if i _ever_ saw one. "aiyo salli". I think of that every time my car does less than 400kms on a tank of petrol, which is quite often these days.
  2. Found a pic I took some months back on a poya day as I was coming out of the Sambodhi Vihara after Sil.
  3. Really? All I see is a Jaguar XF with an Aston Martin front and tail lights fashioned to those of the Maserati GT.
  4. they're still built elsewhere. i know for a fact the Euro Yaris is built in France.
  5. The Belta is Japanese, the Vios is Thai and Malay, the Yaris is built in a bunch of different countries depending on the region it's sold in (i.e. North America, Europe, Asia etc) They're essentially the same platform but the Vios in the G-Limited trim comes with the most bells and whistles, and all grades above the base grade come with a 1.5 litre engine and 4 wheel disc brakes. The Vios also has the prettiest rear light cluster imo.
  6. the Axio is still a Corolla, if you ever looked closely enough at the Axio emblem you'll see a 'Corolla' sticker just above it. And I was referring to an "agent supplied" 141, which is the ROW (rest of the world) Corolla, also the one Toyota Lanka brings down. So my opinion is still the same, sorry for not being clearer.
  7. I've been running Maxxis 185/65/14s for the past 6000k, and while they're very durable, they're quite noisy when driving above 60.
  8. Please use the post whoring thread.

Well yeah, Boxter notwithstanding, the 4C has the Exige to deal with as well, and will really have to show its colors when the unavoidable comparison occurs. They need to start make affordable RWD cars again, not just re-skinned Fiats.
  10. Well firstly, the very best of luck finding a 141 Axio for under 4 mil. The other agent supplied 141 comes with a 1.6 liter engine, where as the new Vios still has a 1.5. If fuel economy isn't an issue, then I'd suggest the 141 since its the bigger and more spacious of the two, plus the manual version has very good acceleration.
  11. shit is expensive in aussie. a pair of Sennheiser 558s costs nearly 40k at JB Hifi where as its half of that on ebay. why not have a laptop shipped from the states to your cousin in aussie instead, if there is enough time? Most US vendors who wont ship to Asia/SL will often ship to europe and aussie.

    Alfa Romeo

The front of it looks like it was taken from a high end kit car. That design is just WAY too busy compared to the smoothness of the 8C.
  13. If you're going to get down a phone, get pre-approval from the TRC. Then they will release it to you for inspection by the TRC.
  14. srsly? no one has any clue about a green Jaguar XJS V12 in SL?

yeah i pretty much guessed that, as improbable as it is.

  15. @md ok so, i have to ask, was the green XJS V12 i saw on the back of the red truck this evening yours? i ask cos your avatar is sporting avatar is sporting a jag v12 badge and you mentioned a while back a v12 was on the way.
  16. So as I was turning into the Baseline this evening, I nearly rear ended a truck carrying a green XJS V12, sporting 300-plates. Pre-facelift, probably 86/87? Anyone aware of this car?

  17. Nietzsche and Buddhism, a book of profoundly mindfcuking proportions.

  18. Your engine will start to run rich.
  19. Go for the face lift model is possible. The Y11 Wingroad was another car I was seriously considering buying, its a much better looking car than the sedan.
  20. On the Baseline some years ago. It was also up for sale on A/L but the adverts don't go that far back. It had red GT badges and appeared to be unmodified. Also remember the 111 code is also used for the 1.6 litre variants brought down by Toyota Lanka. I believe they were the GLi models, and can be identified by the 220km/h speedo plus leather seats.
  21. I wonder if they will feature the 6 wheeled Tyrell!!
  22. So recently I had the opportunity to remove the (non functional) front fog lights in my Vios and see what was up with them. The +(ve) lead on one of the bulbs (H3) had burnt through the insulation at the point where a joint was made to harness. I re-crimped a new connector, cleaned the lenses up with some brasso and made sure they were worked by hooking them up to a 12V 2.2AH Pb battery. However when testing them with the car, they refuse to light up and the voltage in the circuit drops to 0 upon hooking up either light. Power is available at both connectors. Now, I suspect its a shitty relay which is a result of the short circuit, however I'd like a second opinion as to what else might be wrong. Edit: Found the issue after tracing the wiring. There's an inline fuse holder close to the fog light relay, and cheap fuse in it had corroded blades, so I replaced it and voila, front fogs work now.
