  1. Better late than never I say However what about 3 wheel drivers, and public transport- If you listen/watch the news most accidents are caused by busses been the main culprit and a motor bike /3 wheeler or a car been hit. VANS- should all seats have seatbelts ?? Like another member said – Should the rear passengers use belts ??? Wonder if the police are going to educate the common citizens What about having kids with you in the front seat ( even in the fathers lap whilst driving )
  2. Don't know the name of the shop but it's next to Pet#o in Narahenpita - passing Airtel building when ur coming from Apollo hospital - left side - They do stock the stuff u are requesting
  3. Cool mate - Once again - Good luck
  4. Ya – don’t try to focus on the high power ones only- open it up for all – after all the make is Toyota and I m sure there are lot of corolla owners who are passionate about their ride even if it doesn’t hit the speed records Discrimination is not a good way forward Good Luck & all the best
  5. Yes – I’m pretty sure that the bloke who wrote this rides to work and does NOT DRIVE I;m totally in for belts – I’ve been using belts way long before these buffoons thought about it. Double standards – what about bus drivers and the rest of the blooming lots …… listen to the news and u’ll realize how many accidents happen involving bus drivers…… B 4 seatbelts – we need to STOP giving driving licenses to every monkey that applies, have better driving schools, and ensure tat the proper road rules are applied – belts alone will not solve the problem – just another way for the GOVT earn money for their own benefits
  6. I used the blooming High-level road & I hate it - If u got the cash – Potenzas are great - I’ve got 14” and running 195 “ 55” – remember better stick with 55 or higher as the roads re crap. I put Rodestone ( V grove) – decent price and must say handling is quite impressive – wet handling is also great. Tyre wear is not bad either still using the ones I put in Dec 2006 with threads in fairly good condition- Mind u I did do several round on the MFOC Gymkhana track which basically took most of the side threads
  7. I believe so - not 100% certain though - just that the mount been damaged may have an effect on the overall handling of the car when it falls in to holes thus the sock taking some beating – Generally the knocking sound comes mainly due to a mount been damaged as I;ve had the same issue in my previous car and was advised to be changed by my then mechanic Any one else have any opinions
  8. Hi YA can be the shock. U may have a gas shock so in that case u won’t get an oil spillage. The common culprit is the mounts of the shock they tend to wear thanks to our smooth roads - Get it checked soon . Let me know if you need any assitance - I too ahve a 323 YOM 200
  9. We shouldn’t shun the Purple colour’d Honda dude in SL - check these VANS out from Japan URL=http://img148.imageshack.us/my.php?image=van5.png][/url]
  10. ahhhhh wat about u mate ?
  11. Hay I’m guessing U are in ME or USA ????? Well there’s loads of parts available in the UK – but not too sure how u can get them down. My farther did a Escot with and most of the parts were brought down from UK. The model is not seen here in SL roads – Not at all by me anyway Good if you can restore it - good if you can get the whole or the major parts down like Jady said
  12. Just the same thing that came to my mind too - Uyak C'On Toyota U can & have done better - wats up ??
  13. Not to forget the Allion & Yaris
  14. Would this be a red one u own ????
  15. Just my 2 cents – If it were up to me – putting some TJM /metal bumpers would be the in thing so as not to get the 3 wheel jonnies coming and cutting in to u Agree with hellrazor – Kit’s will kind of ruin the look- A snocle may be good – check the ##### – say a few places advertise stuff for 4x4 Good luck & post some pics once U've done some mods oooops sorry forgot - ahhh the usual news papers
  16. Sad News indeed Well lets try and see if we can sway him to go for a Mazda Never the less I’m sure his heart will always belong to a Mazda
  17. Congrats meangreen – glad to know all 3 are doing well…… ys heard that there will be loads of sleepless nights - but all is worth it at the end
  18. Ya the cars has loads of space good thing Ahh I've been eyeing Bugatt's one as well - same situ with me - need to get rid of my current ride -
  19. Hail Zul & his Mazda's
  20. Hi Prad, Wishing you all the best for today & hope u have a good time. So I guess the next MFOC party should be on U Kidding man Anyways lets hook up soon
  21. People say that the vehicle market is down but still hard to get great deals – so a Mint might be needed A 2000 YOM hatch can be bought for that range but anything after that is going to be hard to find- A sedan is no issue. Shall keep u posted if some thing come up though – Good luck on the hunt
  22. Thanks Shai, - next month Have to put the plan on hold for a while but on the lookout so shall let u know if I come across a good one . Cheers
  23. Ahhh yes it pass hands through Janaka ( The owner of the RX7-White) - that's when the color scheme came in
  24. Doing a test drive is good but get a professional to check the entire car out –there are several areas that won’t be eminent when doing a test drives such as electronics- recommend Lalith @ Papiliyana junc – easy to find – tell that Mazda/Ford club member sent u Good luck & looking forward to hearing from U with the purchase
  25. Well Shai….. U’ve got it spot on – nothing left for me to add… I agree with the BJ5W coming after 99 – the pre 99 hatches are not that frequent here in SL. As SHAI & I both have hatches – I too was looking for a hatch but due to family member upgrade I’m unable to go for a car upgrade – The car is simply amazing to drive, price is about right but depending on the condition it will change a good one would go beyond the 1.6Mil range. Auto will give you the figures said , the pick up will be great on a auto as opposed to most other autos Go For it – Would advise a full check up
