  1. Go for oem . I dont know whether you can find proper after market stuff here.
  2. Do they have exact part like u3456? Like komi mentioned, do they have high performance series shocks which comes in blue colour?
  3. Gun metal grey or bronze.Machan there's a app in civic-eg.com called rim veiwer where you can change alloys, profile, car colour, etc and could get a rough idea.
  4. Were you there at Horana 2-3 weeks back. I saw similar looking car to yours, parked close to bus stand .
  5. 3n8 is Red mica metalic, which i used to paint my car. But it looks bit similar to Nilantha's Noah colour, may be bit darker.
  6. Happy birthday mate!
  7. Ha..ha.. i know how it feels ! How is the silencer note? is it giving some fart or dead silent? Also its good that you get rid of that gsr embelm, cuz it was bit over sized to me!
  8. Great job MD!. All the very best for the rest of the restoration!
  9. Try ebay. I got one for my cannon sx40 under 2k(new but duplicate) and its holding as good as the original one!http://www.ebay.com/itm/Supply-DSC-H7-H9-H10-H20-H50-H10-N1-N2-T100-T20-NP-BG1-WX10-SONY-Factory-Direct-/190607736187?pt=Batteries_Chargers&hash=item2c611b3d7b http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Original-Sony-NP-BG1-Battery-Pack-For-W100-WX1S-/150832080307?pt=Batteries_Chargers&hash=item231e4ae5b3
  10. Actually when im searching for different part i came a cross this 4 shocks with springs removed from a one vehicle and were in good cosmetic look.(for 20k) so i took a chance and replaced it(us motors wadduwa, gave me 1 week to return if they are bad). As don said theres no way to assess the durability, but they are holding well now almost 1year!. my advice also to search for a japanese shock (kyb or tokico)
  11. Used both types in the past and now running with second hand original shocks . There is massive difference in ride comfort when compare them to brand new kyb and tokico. I too felt that the both the kyb and tokico were not that comfortable( may be they sell some low quality alternative here).
  12. Ive got civic eg catalouge. but i couldnt figure out the way to attach the whole set of files to the post( got 13 files and i only got 144kb left)
  13. For me, real disturbing part is the way that idiot has turned the body and kept him there in prone position. It seems like that poor guy was unconsious after the impact and that stupid act alone could have compromise the air way futher and reduced the chance of survival. Organizers need to take charge of a situation like this and at least few people in the organizing party should know the basic life support methods in case of an emergency.
  14. I think above the mid point is high for a civic. As don mentioned flush the radiator and if possible show it to a good radiator place, because flushing sometimes not do the job(in case of badly clogged radiator). Is there a difference in the temp gauge when running with AC?. Until you come to a proper diagnosis, you need to pay real attention to temp gauge as a minor issue(eassy fix) in cooling system may results in blown head gasket! Good luck!
  15. All the best mate!
  16. Machan, would you mind mentioning a place around colombo to buy them?
  17. Mate, where do you get this coloured vacum lines in sl.What is the benifit in them comparing to normal line.

    Keyless Entry Key

One place is outside car park near MC. I couldnt unlock the car and unlocked the door manualy, triggering the siran(Drawing lot of attention ) then a guy at the car park gate came to my rescue saying its a common thing there due to telecommunication towers in near by building.
  19. Good to see an update machan!.It seems like that you are dealing with some Honda rust as well!.
  20. Thanks for the information mate!
  21. Kushan, Have you ordered any parts from hondaoriginalparts.com?. Are they shiping to sri lanka. Thank you very much for the link as it has rare service manual diagrams !
  22. I think its available in size 15 and above!. check with your local maxxis agent.
  23. Well i cant give you a exact figure , but surely below 30000km mark. In Achillis last half of the threads dissapiered pritty quickly!
  24. Of course mate, 1000km is nothing for a tyre. I went through few online reveiws before purchasing and some are complaining about road noise, not the thread wear. As you said road noise is not much of an issue for me either. So we have to wait and see how Ma Z1 handles SL roads!
  25. Yes machan, its a real gem compared to the price tag and other benifits. I dont think thread wear is much of an issue in Maxxis.Ive reached 1000km, but still good as new.Only negative side may be the road noise, but its far less than my ex Gt and acilles. Ive never used high end performance radials to compare,so you can add input on that aspect!
