Had the same issue on one of my old cars and it was because the square shaped slot onto which the cable plugged in, was worn out. I'm talking about the slot behind the meter. Had to take the meter apart and fill in the worn out slot. A guy at Kirulapone did the job for me some years back. Another reason could be because the cable is laid out in such a way that it goes through some sharp bends before reaching the meter. Laying it out in a much straight path could solve the issue. It could also be because of the friction isnside the cable housing. Happens when dirt and grime get inside the cable from either end. I have used a small amount of gear oil to lubricate the cable (after cleaning the cable) so that it can turn without much trouble.

There it is! Something I've been waiting for! Made me remember how I felt when the engine of my A72 was being put together... Man what a feeling that was. I can totally second the Monica Bellucci argument.

Thanks Peri. All the reviews confirm that this phone is super fast, like you've mentioned. Hope to hear from you once you get the SIM. I'm looking for a way to bring one down. I guess the best way is to have someone bring it down for me. It's also available on ebay BTW, I'll keep that as a second option because I really don't want to mess with the Customs and the TRC and stuff. For anyone else who might be interested in the Nexus 4, here's an in depth review. Over 1 hour! This is probably one of the most detailed reviews on YouTube.

Just login to imageshack to avoid having to do this.

Nice set of filters mate. This will definitely add some "bling" to the engine too. By the way, can the filter element be replaced when it's at the end of it's lifetime?
-
Will sure do mate. Thanks again! PS: I meant Xperia Z in the previous post and not Xperia P. The P can be purchased for a little over 30k I guess.

If not for my budget restrictions, I would go for a Xperia Z without hesitation, but I'm afraid I have a bit of a strict budget. The Nexus 4 luckily falls within my budget (if stretched a little) and it's a great phone according to reviews. Edited: I meant Xperia Z, not XPeria P. Sorry about that.

Interesting... Thank you YRD. If this is true, they would be addressing one of my biggest concerns, which is the absence of an expansion slot for memory. I guess it wouldn't hurt to wait a couple of weeks and see.

Looking to buy a phone myself and I also have my eyes on the Google Nexus 4. Went through several reviews and I think it's a pretty good phone for the price although I'm not a LG fan, having used a Sony Ericsson for the past 6 years. My first preference was to go for a Xperia P (given my budget) but it seems like I can get my hands on a Nexus 4 if I stretch my budget just a little. How did you get yours down? A local advertising site showed me that they're available here for around 50,000 or so. Any advice/comments from your experience with the Nexus 4? Appreciate if you can share a few details, being a current user. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. Have you tried the Delkanda strip? Also, try Eur0n!pp0n (Wadduwa and Mahabage) and US @uto Parts (Wadduwa). Question: What's up with the existing headlights?

Done.

Found this on Facebook. He doesn't seem to be doing justice to that name "Wrong Side Express" though. At least not when the photo was taken.

Happy birthday mate. Wishing you a year filled with Js, Ds and Ms. Have a good one!
-
Ah right. If this is the case, there's a good chance for one of the coils to be at fault here.
-
Yes, that too...

I say! This is superb! Please give more details on how the intake manifold was modified and of course, more photos!

Wish You All A Very Happy And Prosperous Sinhala And Tamil New Year 2015

Hey guys, Wish you all a happy and prosperous new year! -
Good info. You've missed a tow rope in your list. May I add that it's a good idea to carry a spare spark plug or two and a spare drive belt if possible (even a belt that has been used, but is intact). My dad used to always carry them in his vehicles and they certainly have come in handy many times.
-
This could very well be because of an ignition issue. The first thing I'd do is check if all the spark plugs are working fine. I'm not sure about the FB 15's ignition design, but if it has multiple ignition coils supplying power to one or two cylinders, it could also be an ignition coil that is at fault. In both of these scenarios, one cylinder of your engine ceases to work properly due to being unable to ignite the fuel, causing considerable vibration. Take your car to a good mechanic. This should be pretty easy to diagnose.

I read that the person who was killed was not buckled up. He had been thrown outta the vehicle and it had run over him. This is kind of asking for it... Poor feellow was only 40, and had to pay with his life because he was ignorant. Lesson learnt:

"Old Lancer owners will die" after seeing this, that's for sure! Anyway, Thanks for sharing Gummybr.

Nice car (at least as seen from the front). Too bad the Eva Mendez rear end is gone. Somehow I always manage to find my daily dosage of laughter here on AL.
