Hybrid battery is not for life time of the car... But the life time of a car is technically 1,000,000kms. Manufacturer recommends an engine overhaul at every 250,000km. you can bore the cylinder only three times. So the engine of the car can run only 1,000,000kms. that's the life time of a car.

you can use a frequency shifter to change the frequency band. Any A/V guy will do this. Or go for a HU made for Mazda 3. There are few models made for Mazda 3.

Actually.. 15 alloy wheels, 15x5 1/2J with 175/65 R15 tyres are for G and L grades 16" alloy wheels, 16x6J with 185/55 R16 tyres are for LS grade. But I don't think it would be a problem to use these two wheels with the recommended tire sizes whatever the grade.

Even it looks like a mechanical type injector pump it has an electronic control to reduce the emissions. Mostly an electronic governor and a electronically controlled valve to limit the fuel flow. And that unit you found is to analyse and control the system.

Mostly this kind of HUs have two antenna inputs. One for TV and other for radio. Check the radio antenna (mostly an arial) connection.

I used a 2.5L first generation X type few years back. Ride quality is best with the original 17" wheels and superb stability. Fual consumption is 5-6 Km/l for city and 7-8 km/l out station. It was a very reliable car. But very expensive to maintain. We sold this JAG two years ago and so this beauty last monday at Rajagiriya.
