As per my car mannual they have mentioned it as Part #23300-15010 (VIC FC-146) but I noticed that prevoius owenrs has changed the fuel filter to some other model ( L Shape as per Mech, guy) . THefore Can I I replace original part ( Which connect 02 fuel pipes from top) instead of existing filter? Or Are there L shape filters also in same design. (VIc filter FC-146)? THank you

Recently I got my spark plug checked & mechanic said that 02 spark pluges were effected with engine oil leak. Therefore he replaced those 02 plugs with Shorter thread NGK plugs instead loger thread plugs. Will this solve my problem ? or is thre any other issue with this move. If I repair my engine with new rings set How much does it cost, Mechanic told me that only his charge about 14K (Inaddition to that he wanted Gasket set also). Does any one knows a place to find a Carb needle in colombo area (I need a EE90 Carbrator neelde it is not supplied with carbrator repair kit also. ) Thank you

I have done aprox 600km after buying this car, Air filter is not bad when i checked at the service station 1month ago. No such sudden engine stoping when I take foot from the accelarator. But as I said it's really dificult to start after running few km since last week. Also I've noticed vissible smoke too during these days..

Thanks for all comments Starter Motor is in good condition, This problem crop ups when I resart the vehicle after parking (After 30-40 Min drive). I have no idea about the petrol filter replacement date as I bought this car 7 months ago. Can this be due to worn carbrator needle ? or something I can remember one mechanic adviced me to replace the Carb needle but still i could not find this around panchikawatta area too.

Recently i'm having a problem with my vehicle EE90 (1300 Carb model) it's not starting at all if I stop the vehicle after running few kilometers. Can't start without a push. I got the battery also checked but no issues with that. Also I have noticed that I need to accelarate hard to move the vehicle compared to earlier occasions. Seems to be a engine missfire? What Can I do to fix this issue? Can this be a petrol filter or spark plug issue (But Changed plugs before 2 Months ago.) Thank you

Recently I did a wheel allignment, unfortunately I can't turn steering weel as I turn to the right side (Vehicle can turn to right side al most 90' degrees but left turn is onle 45-50 degrees). A mechanic told me that this vehicle is having a steering rack of nissan FB13 so it is not suitable for toyota corolla. What I can do to get this issue sorted. Can this fixed by changing tie rods or Power steering rack? If I change power toyota Corolla EE90 steering rack (reconditioned) How much does it cost? Please advice.

Yes, it's during the heating period gradually decrease after heating the engine. Although this is old car this got through the emission test also easily. After the vehicle service & oil change engine oil level has't gone down as earlier but I may have see a good mechanic for this issue. Thanks

I have observed little oil level dropring in my EE90 corolla. After 260-290 km I had to refill 250ml engine oil is this unusual? Also there is slight white smoke when engine runs at higher RPM. Is there a connetion with oil burnning please advice..
