I'm looking for a 2E 1300cc petrol engine for a Corolla car? Any idea about the cost ?

Will it be possible to find reasonably good one in Panchikawatta area?

Mind me for asking, but isnt it a good idea to go for a EFI engine rather than a carb? You can get a ecu sourced out also right? Is this a complicated and expensive thing to do?

You need a lot more than an ECU and an Engine to switch to an EFI engine. You need the original wiring harness, electrical bits, fuel pump etc etc. More often than not it is NOT worth the hassle.

this may be a bad idea but why don't you replace your engine with 1.5 this time it may be worth your while and it will definitely have more pulling power check that out too fella.

Opting for an EFI is not a good idea.
