  1. Thanks mate
  2. As far as I know, Toyota Voxy is the 4th best selling vehicle (neglecting kei cars) in Japan at the moment just below Aqua, Fit, and Prius. Looks like Noah but with low ground clearance. One of my friend is looking to buy this for tourism. Will it be a successful car in Sri Lanka like Japan? All the other cars in the Japan's best selling list is performing well in Sri Lankan sales.
  3. Sometimes damages to the inverter from the brunt of an accident undetectable straight away, so you won't get the claim for that damage. There will be malfunctions in the hybrid system and fuel efficiency will go down.

    Fuel Efficiency

Vehicle : Honda FIT GD1 Transmission Type : CVT Engine Capacity : 1300 cc Fuel : Octane 92 Km per Ltr (city) : 09 - 13 (Depends on the nature of the traffic) Long Distance: 20+ (Maximum 22.5 driver only)
  5. I am not sure about fire from an electric leak, because hybrid system is so sophisticated to prevent fire hazards. The issue with accidents for a hybrid vehicle is that the system is so complex, it is hard to recover the damage of the hybrid system and you have to argue with insurance company. Risk is so high with a rear-end collision, due to battery location. Even in a normal accident, hybrid inverter might have issues with the brunt of the collision.
  6. Go for the Allion. Axio hybrid is one of the worst-looking cars for me

    Honda Vezel

Introduced just few months ago, this is the 4th best selling vehicle in Japan according to JADA http://bestsellingcarsblog.com/2014/07/16/japan-june-2014-toyota-aqua-back-to-1-honda-vezel-up-to-4/ Even in Sri Lanka, I saw Vezels in so many car sales in Colombo. With its price, Vezel is going to be a popular vehicle like Corolla and sunny. More Vezels to come
  8. Mr. Edirisingha? Plus STF also went to that area quickly. Must be having a good connection with the royal family.
  9. heavily overpriced Corolla 121 is bit old and ugly. One of my friends has a Honda Fit GD1 iDSI and he said it does around 12 in the city and 19+ on the long run. I also drove that car. Handling is excellent, but the pickup is not that good, I think iVTEC version has a better pickup
  10. Go for a Honda fit, very low fuel consumption as a non hybrid car, but maintaining cost is bit high though
  11. Fit RS or civic TypeR
  12. Will Mazda rx8 fall into that racing car category defined by the government?
  13. For more images. http://www.imagesofceylon.com/ioc-transport.htm
  14. Tata Indogo wagon?
  15. Viva Elite or Mariti Alto K10
  16. Except for reason #4 I agree with you mate. To me, Axio looks better than 121 and 141
  17. A friend of me asked about that from Unimo, but Unimo does't know anything about that price decrease. So this is a total lie.
  18. Toyota Camry hybrid
  19. Ten years ago, price of a 1 L of petrol was more than twice as diesel, but now the gap has been narrowing. In 2002 1 L of petrol was 50 rupees and now 150 rupees . In 2002 1 L of diesel was 22.50 rupees and now 115 rupees. As far as I know when a diesel vehicle gets older the maintenance cost will be much higher than petrol. I did not feel diesel vehicles comfortable like petrol when driving. So better go for a petrol
  20. Veggie Samurai (game) Smart tools (App) Instant Heart rate (App)
  21. It is hard to buy above-mentioned cars around 1.8 million. Go for a starlet or March K11
  22. Axio is also a corrolla but it is the Japan domestic version. Local agent's Corolla 141 I think it is made in Thailand. I heard newer 141 does much better in fuel than old 141 because recent 141s have a more powerful engine than older ones.
  23. Great work
  24. I think It is difficult to find an EK3 (auto transmission) with english number plates and newer than 1996 under 1.6 million nowadays. You can go for a Toyota Soluna.
  25. Don't trust places like M@l@be Pu#chi car N!v@sa. They just doing a business, buying a secondhand car from someone for a lesser price saying the car is not good and then they will do some minor repairs and modifications and sell the car for a much higher price. Whenever we buying a second hand car, I think we better buy the car from the genuine owner without intermediary, but make sure to check the vehicle with a good mechanic.
