waka
As far as I know, Toyota Voxy is the 4th best selling vehicle (neglecting kei cars) in Japan at the moment just below Aqua, Fit, and Prius. Looks like Noah but with low ground clearance. One of my friend is looking to buy this for tourism. Will it be a successful car in Sri Lanka like Japan? All the other cars in the Japan's best selling list is performing well in Sri Lankan sales.
RViji
in what roads does he want to drive for tourism? Voxy is a family Van with soft suspension and low ground clearance, not for rugged road use like in Wildlife parks. A similar family Van "Stepwagon" from Honda did not have independent suspension for rear wheels, and the ride was horrible at back seats. probably it is improved in the Voxy. Nobody can predict how a certain vehicle will perform in the market. There used to be a time when small vans were very popular in SL. But now that trend has changed a bit and you see fewer vehicles of that type being registered.

tiv
Doesnt look ugly to me, True, this thing is a sight for sore eyes compared to things coming in this segment I'd prefer no bling though Edited October 3, 2014 by tiv
sathyajithj99
why don't you consider an estima (hybrid). It has 7 seats. And I can see non of them on the roads. So your friend can be one of the proud owners of them . Edited October 4, 2014 by sathyajithj99

So your friend can be one of the proud owners of them . I think it is risky to buy a vehicle that is rare in SL roads. I saw few Voxy hybrids so far in SL but not as much as Honda Vezels. Both Vezel and Voxy are new models and they a are good performers in Japan market this year. Voxy looks better than Estima, but ground clearance is a concern. They are both hybrids but totally different vehicles with different capabilities and purposes. So you can't expect the same popularity with both of them. Magnum
True, this thing is a sight for sore eyes compared to things coming in this segmentI'd prefer no bling though Noah with the Moddelista kit also looks nice, I was gonna bring down one 2-3 months back but i thought I'd give it sometime why don't you consider an estima (hybrid). I dont think Estima is that economical, cuz i met a Estima owner, he said that it does only around 7-8km/l but i guess you can expect better economy from Noah/Voxy cuz they have a similar set up to the Prius
