Hi guys i have a Fb14 auto GA15DE,I don't know what's wrong with this car...As some of you know i have replaced every part that these Garages asked me to replace(transmission,distributor,fuel pump)...I'm fed up doing tune up and Ecu scans and all kind of things monthly,but no one can resolve this problem.I did a tune up last month also(worked well on the tune up day) but now the engine feel like shaking and i feel like it would stop if i stop accelerating..it feels like it idles horribly low...The problem doesn't come in the morning..and also the major problem is after like 10-15 min of driving car would just stop accelerating in the middle of road, it's like a bog...so i should press the accelerator hard to get going..after a minute or so it becomes normal..again it's coming randomly.(If i switch off just for a second and restart problem goes away).(had the same problem with the previous transmisstion unit)This leads me to not driving out of Colombo,,it sucks to drive outstation.I swear after resolving this problem i will sell this piece of shit... engine compression very good No ecu error codes. No fuel pressure problems. Injectors fine,plugs fine Replaced transmisstion is in real good condition,i suspect that the previous one was also not at fault..It was replaced due to this bogging problem.. maka basses saying their is no problem with the car,car works well on the tune up day..these things comes up after like a week. I myself thinks their is a problem with the throttle body,one of the sensors, or the catalytic converter,silencer is clogged..plz recommend me a good place to check these sensors and stuff.I heard about A*W,do they check these things in their diagnosis..Sorry for the long story,I'm bit fed up of his car..

  5. nimz It's hard to say that because of that this happens...bdw if you are sure about that, they may have clogged some sensor during the cleaning process..or may be a hidden error came out because now the car in it's full potential after tune up.You can do the diagnosis at A*W i hope they do mazda as well..for like 2000rs...i had a 1996 one pretty good cars..hope it's not the distributor..it's bit hard to find...in your case most probably you need to do a proper throttle body clean up again and see....

No nimz77 don't start replacing things...first do a diagnosis and ecu scan for error codes...distributor heating up can cause this problem mainly..replace only when you found the error..do a throttle body clean up first and see...check the battery voltage,alternator condition,and starter motor condition..but when i try car start(ignition) with little acceleration car will start,this check your fuel system for a clogged fuel filter too.

Dude never wash the engine again..electronics+water never a good idea..just blow off the dust,dust is sooo much better than water...i was too late to realize this..all my engine parts starts to fail one by one...check the plugs for water...just do a good run for an hour,,symptoms would go away. check for break binds too...

Guys i have a fb14 auto, i got my transmission unit replaced while a back,latety my car shifts into gears very soon,first gear duration is normal,but it would shift 2nd to 3rd within very low rpm,and when it engages to 3rd car almost loosing the torque acceleration is very poor..it feels like a manual where you try to pick up from a stop with a high gear..the car is almost on 4th gear(over drive) at 60km/h,i'm driving these days with overdrive off because it accelerate so well with it off..does this car has a kick down cable to adjust?or is this any sensor problem?like tps? where can i get this sensor checking done around colombo?tanx

  13. what's your engine capacity..I don't see a problem..of course your car will struggle if you stop in the upper section of the hill and try to engage 2nd gear and try to accelerate again...any car will struggle bad if you climb a hill with traffic and oh my with 3rd gear...don't try to climb in such high gears with traffic on hills..you are damaging your car clutch plates and stressing the engine... To see if there's a real problem...how's the acceleration on normal roads...does it feels like engine is revving high but car doesn't move as much as you accelerate...? This can mainly be due to your driving pattern... anyway you always can do a vehicle diagnosis and see if there's any issues with fuel pressure,clogged fuel filter,air filter,engine miss and so on...don't go on replacing everything.first do a diagnosis to see if there's any actual problem...

  16. Thanks don.I have replaced both wheel side cv joints before.so guess now its transmission side.If its intergrated my bad.have to check.Do you know how roughly the price will be brand new vs used one.tanx

HI terra tanx for the info..Anyway in my one i just can't ignore the feeling.It's so hard that i feel like it would break the mounts.it's jerks that hard.I googled the symptom's and found out it's because of bad u joints in the drive shaft.. are there cv joints on both side if this axle?where it connect to transmission?tanx

Hi guys,I have a fb14 auto with a GA15de engine.When i select gears from P to D or P to R car just jumps forward and backwards bit hard.I do keep applying breaks.But the shiftings are really smooth when driving and there's no delay in engaging gears.I have replaced all my engine and transmission mounts.But the problem still exist.No the car doesn't idle high.Can the gear lever bearings lead to this problem because i feel like the gear lever is bit loose.(no it doesn't jump i just feel like) or can it be a ecu issue?? Note:This is my second transmission unit (i have replaced with a reasonably good used one) but the old one had the same problem. Note:It's only when selecting P to D or P to R,R to D or like wise if i select P or N to direct 1,2 it doesn't jerk.

Man you could have planned it better months before her birthday...you should have just shown her some HIt ...d paper on a random day and while looking on the vehicle section just keep on commenting "ah this looks nice ne"obviously she would have comment on what she likes....lol. if you know what i mean. . More than the car focus on the color choice...
