I installed these on mine too. Some times, some leds don't fit properly, check whether they fit in properly

I guess the clock, dome light etc, have the same fuse, first check what fuses you have blown and go on from there? -
I always found them a bit on the expensive side, but good work, but also it's always packed full house, so yeah there are someother places... Besides a civic is not an exotic car with a complicated system, so do normal stuff at your normal garage and if you have something serious to do, goto some Honda specific place like the one mentioned here...
