    Octane You Use??

90 OCT - Better fuel economy, stable, easier to drive around 95 OCT - Better performance, lesser power on low RPMs, have to keep revving Is this because of ignition timing or something? (D15B Vtec)
  3. Much easier - http://74.125.153.132/search?q=cache:lt5OK...=en&ct=clnk
  4. In some cases, affordability, for some the car/engine or their preference/goals. And anyway guys, if some of you find 'some places' unaffordable, suggest some better places which we could get the same job done properly for a comparatively lesser price tag. And share your experiences with relevant details such as your car and your goals. It would be really benefit everyone here, who are looking for "Best PlaceS For Engine Tune Ups". So ya, stick to the topic, peace out
  5. Agreed Zakie is, for Hondas...
  6. uhh me too Btw mayb this guy was referring to toy/model cars
  7. Yep, gonna have a look around the exhaust. If not lucky with that, am just gonna make sure the light is removed or covered Thx for the input guys
  8. lol no I was just trying to post against some marketing It's a nice car but it is almost like a EG8 Vtec, or to be more specific a EG 2dr coupe. Well, that's a good looking car (pics)
  9. Cant be sure that it could be a legitimate issue, coz like in the key "ON" position, the light shows up, even before starting the car. And the other matter is no catalytical converter, running a test pipe with straight-thru setup And about the cluster, ya maybe this light could mean something else on the original cluster. Or maybe the Cat Temp Light was always on after de-catting and previous owner made sure bulb wasn't working, like it works only when positioned properly. It never turned up before I worked on the cluster. Don't have a friend with an EG, should look around a bit. Could remove the bulb, rather than messing with the circuit
  10. I would suggest an earlier gen CRX for a 2 door Honda sports car, rather than spending such a lot of money (2mil lol) on a no go, show car. Or better yet some other brand's sports car from the Delsol era or even a Honda Beat
  11. BUMP anyone?
  12. wondering the same, Android G1 looks promising
  13. http://media.photobucket.com/image/civic%2...76/IMG_0011.jpg http://image.hondatuningmagazine.com/f/896...ering_wheel.jpg But the same warning light is available on other EFI clusters also Wiring for the EG cluster explained: http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s40/inf...WiringChart.jpg So yea it is the Catalyst temperature light maybe. But mine is running cat-less, straight pipe. So how could that light work? Is there a sensor for it somewhere? Confusing
  14. Changed by myself DIY, costed $12 and few days coz the fuel gauge messed up in the process, now everything looks perfect Well, exhaust temp warning means? Temperature at the manifold? EFI. But my cluster was replaced as I know, maybe this could be a cluster from a non-EFI. Yep CEL light is there, if O2 sensor or incorrect ignition timing would have been shown on the CEL right? But ya as you're saying, maybe this light lights up for something else and my cluster shows something else. So could someone help me out by checking what's the icon shown on that specific spot (above RPM meter, to the left) on a 92-95 Civic EFI model?
  15. Could these maps loaded to non-GPS S60 phones? lol, bro in that case you might have to track the laptop also with GPS in case it goes missing
  16. Guys, just recently I replaced gauge cluster bulbs with LEDs. Now a light is always on, but I have no idea what it is ^^ Is it the Heater? Defroster? This guy told me it is a Cat check light lol
  17. Saw a same set of wheels or a bit similar ones as I remember, in much better condition, at a place, CMB - Kandy road
