Thanks for sharing such an inspiring project details mudhitha.... I too am, influenced to do a project like this now, thanks to you... However, with my car hunt for a white presea, I guess the sands of time for me are running low. I was promised by a white presea owner that he would sell his, and gave me two months of hope and this week when the deal was about to close, he told me he changed his mind... so I thought I should settle down for a presea of another colour since I have not much of choice left... since the OP has chosen a great shade of silver and he didnt have to change the book too, I would like to get some advice from our members on this same thread too without opening another thread or moving to a different thread...I do not want to go through the hazzle of changing the colour in the book and if im to sell the car in the future, i dont want the buyer to hesitate to buy coz the colour has changed... so i too planned an alternative to buy a silver car, and do a full body paint of a different shade of silver to make things easier... the different shade of silver I'm attracted to is the "SILVER BLUE".... I have seen a very few silver blue cars in SL, they were only BMW's... however i searched the net and found few shades of silver and following are the pictures... I would like to know, if these colour paints exist in SL and can these be called under the colour: SILVER, so that I would not have to change the book This one below is called FROZEN SILVER This one is called LIGHTNING SILVER This one I don't know what this silver shade is but I like to know, if anyone knows... And this colour also I don't know what silver it is... And this is the colour I like to have... the paint colour is originally called "MAKO BLUE"...but since it has an essence of silverish colour like the other cars above, can I paint it this colour and regard it as SILVER? (My previous car had the paint of silverish green or metallic green, but in the book it was stated as light green... so I believe for silver also it can be regarded as the same...) However my requirement is to have a silver colour with an essence of Blue... Hope some of you can advice on this thought...

At ASNU, whenever they do an injector cleanup, they always replace the injector O rings whether or not its damaged. they have stocks there itself though.. I'm wondering how come they have O rings that match all the vehicle injectors..

Almost... the owner told me to give him like 2 weeks coz it wasnt for sale and im the one who persuaded him to sell it for me.. so have to give him few weeks until he finds one for himself...

I have this similar kind of tape with me which I used to paste my old car badge... the problem I have in this is, the refina badge comes with a lot of curves and bends, so I will have to chop this tape into many pieces to paste it on the refina badge unlike the letter badge.. why I chose that thicker one was because I can straight away paste the badge onto the tape which will cover the entire badge and then I can cut the extra parts off with a blade, which will make things easier.. but yeah you got a point, with the dirt thingie... Davy dont you think that, thinner the tape is, the more it will be prone to fall off due to lacking of strength ?

The one you got down from ebay- was it wide enough to fit the badge? You got a pic of it?

These are the times that I wish that the Presea is around or over 6.5 million if so could have suggested it noh?

Old thread and great methods pointed out by davy and trinity, and thought of giving another method of pasting the badge... I didn't discover this thread when I was pasting my presea badge in my previous car so I invented my own method and it worked out fine... 1. First of all, I had a printout of the badge with me just like how trinity had it. 2. To paste each letter in a straight line, I took a thread and pasted one corner of the thread to one tail light from the center and pasted the other corner to the other tails lights center with a small cellotape just to make a straight line in the middle of the hood, where the badge letters should be replaced. 3. the same way I drew another line with another thread from below the tail light and pasted that printout I had with me along the pasted second thread. 4. Since I have done these 3 steps, now I know where the letters should be placed, and to be in a straight line I pasted letter by letter under the 1st thread. 5. Final step, now that your badge is been pasted, you can remove the threads and the cellotapes...

Yeah I thought the same... then again I saw many setups like that for that price range...maybe because unlike in SL, americans never take second hand stuff?
