Ya, you have a point about not being easy to decipher if taken in isolation. But the reason i didn't think much of it is because i've mentioned it in this same thread saying i may go there. But your point is taken. I definitely disagree about about pala not being regularly referred though. Most of the threads that involve a electrical issue will mention the place. That's how i got to know of the place as well!

Just an update. Got it sorted at p*l* . Turned out to be a faulty relay. Cost 1250. Just a 10m job. Thanks again!

Why would you need to remove it when servicing? Havn't you pasted it in the inside??? Anyway...dont think you can complain about getting copped for that IMO.

For expensive items or large items probably the best thing is to get someone to bring it for you...but for posted items, if the packaging is small they usually wont open it.

Thanks for the replies. I did do a google search, bt didnt get good results. Guess the term AC is too common and returned lots of incorrect results A couple of ppl suggested a place in nugegoda called atco or pala. I'll decide on one in the weekend... thanks!

Hi folks, Appreciate if you guys could help me on the following matter. Suddenly the AC on my vios started acting up. Since yesterday at times Only the blower seems to work and no cold air. Sometimes the cold would just switch on and off. If you have any experience of having a similar prob or know a gd joint to get it looked at, pls let me knw. Thanks a mil! Best Regards

Saw a Black Escalade on parliment road a couple of weeks ago! That's one nice looking vehicle, with the huge front grills and all. Only managed to snap a pic from behind .Lol, who says sri lanka is a poor country?

Virensti, What make/model shocks did u get? Did it improve the comfort level? I bought my vios about 1 and a half years ago, i think the shocks have to be replaced now

Hmm...gotta disagree entirely...its hardly a case of getting the job done at cost, if someone over charges you, whether its for auto repairs or anything else for that matter, its a ripoff IMO. When you purchase a service you cant be expected to know all the cost details, so u expect a certain level of ethics. "the guys just doing his business" ? well for me personally, thats just a poor excuse.
