The current model has been produced since 2008. So i doubt if you can find a 2008 present variant for as low as 6 mil. But 8 mill range is quite possible given the sri lankan car market

i'd expect an audi to shed lot more value in 3 years. audis are not yet treated in the same league as mercs or bmws at least in SL context.

i wasn't replying to rockerz, irrespective of whether he/she is genuinely intrested in an audi or not i stated that audi's don't yet have the same treatment that of a bmw or merc in the local market. i think audis are very good vehicles. sometimes even better than merc and bmw in build quality. but to somehow suggest that my statement on relative status of audi in local market as retarded deserved some poking.

Chaps, like Stiggy pointed out, this chap is taking all of us for a ride. So rather than entertaining him with our slug matches, I think we should simply refrain from replying on threads spawned by him without a specific purpose.

More to the point, every car maker has produced good cars and bad. It is impossible to do a general comparison simply based on brand. And while I agree with factoring in second hand market prices when you buy a vehicle, the fact is if you are buying second hand in the first place does it matter ? as the car has already undergone its initial depreciation, so the price would be more or less stable.

I for one am not going to reply to Rokerz unless he makes a genuinely valid point. And Rokerz, this is not club lk, a lot of us are sadly not teenagers, and while I fully encourage everybody to join in, we do appreciate if you realise that this is not a blog, where you broadcast yourself, but a forum where you discuss, and since most of us are professionals we'd prefer a little bit of intelligence and some logical basis for any comments made.

hik! cut the legal ownership crap. i have my money put down on two cars that belong to my wife and mom. don't worry about that mate i drive a car 99% of the time and i have been driving many cars since the age of 14 and damn experienced enough to make an informed comment.
