abiman
Hello all, I need to remove meter panel of Toyota Sprinter 1997 CE110 XE vintage. (version without RPM meter) I removed all the screws and disconnected 4 cable connectors from back side. But still meter cluster is not coming out. Looks like there is some kind of cable behind speedometer. Also the fuel indicator is not changed when I disconnect all 4 wire connectors, So I assume there are more wire connectors too. so my questions are, 1. Does this car model has electric speedometer or a rotating cable driven one? 2. how can I disconnect this cable without seeing behind meter? any diagram? 3. DO I need to remove all dash board to remove meter? 4. Will there be RPM indicator signal wire (digital pulse, Analog voltage, analog current) behind this meter panel (not connected) although this meter doesn't have RPM meter? (I'm trying to hook up remote starter to this car. So I need RPM wire and diesel wait to start signal from behind this meter cluster.) Thanks in Edited April 19, 2011 by abiman

(this is AUTO transmission vehicle)
