2. 1000cc, 2009/12-2010/4, 4.5 auction grade,8 Air Bags, C.I.F yen 1,050,000 = LKR.2,835,000 + Local Agent Fee + Additional Options

3. 1000cc, 2010/5-11, 4.5 auction grade,8 Air Bags, C.I.F yen 1,050,000 = LKR. 2,915,000+ Local Agent Fee + Additional Options

3. 1000cc, 2010/12-2010/4, 4.5 auction grade,8 Air Bags, C.I.F yen 1,050,000 = LKR. 3,070,000+ Local Agent Fee + Additional Options

4. 1300cc, 2009/5-11, 4.5 auction grade,8 Air Bags, C.I.F yen 1,000,000 = LKR. 3,000,000 + Local Agent Fee + Additional Options

Additional Option:

DVD/TV/Navi= LKR. 40,000

Alloy = LKR. 20,000

Local Agent fee = 25,000 to 50,000

If you are willing to import a Toyota Vitz atleast you should have 2,800,000/- in your hand now. It depends on the C.I.F Cost. I doubt that you can find a good condition vehicle even @ 1,050,000/- price.

Before tax increase u hv opportunity to import 2008 good condition vehicle at total cost of 22.5 lakhs. Now u hve to pay 28 lakhs atleast.

Before the tax decrease last year, weren't these hatchbacks going for over 3 mil each?

I imported Vitz 1000cc 2010 April model(Black- 5.0 auction grade) for the Gov. Permit last month before tax increased.

i spend only Rs. 1,980,000 for everything. Regarding this calculation can i sell my car around 32 Lak.

But our Tax proceeder totally suck ....

If u r going to purchase 2010, Auc.grade;5 , 1000cc vehicle now, u will have to pay 3.58 mil or +. U have one to one earning. But i doubt that who will purchase 2010 vehicle at that much cost. Bcz ppl have attitude that Vitz value is around 2.5 M. Its better to purchase 2003 allion rather than going to 2010 Vitz. It depends on the ppl attitude.

Anyway if anybody know the c.i.f value of i can calculate the approxiamate total cost

You spent less than 2.0 mil and you're thinking of selling for around 3.0 mil with only a month of usage, and you're saying our tax procedure totally sucks? seriously? If you're that empethetic towards buyers why dont you sell yours at around 2.1 mil.
