well since big boss's elder son too is a big bike fan...you'd never know :)

the whole 300cc limit was supposedly due to security issues during ltte times, so it kinda makes sense to move on from that

True.

Lets say it will come in time, because i've heard this since last august.

I suppose the whole market will change after the HC's are allowed to roll the streets .

So will road safety and the current death rate. Not to slight sensible bikers on autolanka and off, but as the Ceat ad says, "The streets are filled with idiots..."

Would be good if they dump those hideous police bikes and get the cops some real bikes though, it would boost their severe lack of self esteem no end.

Thats going to be a major issue i guess, anyways our cops can't even chase a teen on a moped when he flies by without a helmet. So no point in getting them bikes unless the government starts getting some riders on police bikes ,with a hi payroll off course :P.

But still the issue is if HC bikes are allowed ,how much duty would the customs ask.Plus i guess will be having Bikes with the org keys ,which would cost over the 1 million range .

Dude its not the rider, the awful bikes they have. They are more than 25 years old now (Eg.Suzuki GSX 450cc).They only do less than 10 Km/ltr.Poor guys. :violent-smiley-099:

well the way i see it... bikes in the present bracket are more that enough to kill folks if they chose to ride like morons. Even a moped will do fine.

people who usually go for bigger bikes are enthusiasts and generally are better riders than your average commuter dude who goes for a cheap indian bike.

Also those blokes aren't the ones who really tear down the road cos most of them have nothing to prove. Not like the chaps who have hooked up led's and fart canons to their little indian engines tuned for economy :P

Besides, there isn't a fuss over large displacement cars and i quite couldn't understand the logic behind banning large displacement bikes.

As somebody mentioned, you can outrun a cop if needed on a decent 250cc without too much of a hassle.

The way i see it, no copper will put their life on the line and push his limits to catch a bugger who is willing to push the enevelope

i've seen some nice gs 600's, 750's with coppers but have never seen them riding hard.

Don't think it's merely skills, but those blokes dont want to risk crashing. Not like us bikers who know meeting the tarmac on and off is part and parcel of biking.
