My cousin is planing to buy a car and since few days he inspects few cars. But he was unable to find a good Japanese car for his budget. (8-12laks) Finally he found Peugeot 406 for 8.30 laks. Its nornal model and full option car. 1996 brand new, 1.8L, 19-9***. The interior is very good and the body condition and engine also good. mileage is 1.56km. Please tell me this car is valuable for 8.30 laks.

Price sounds tempting for a 406 (even for a D8). 1.8 version is a bit underpowered though.

Get the suspension and the gearbox (if it is auto tranny) checked from a garage which specializes in pugs. These repairs can be costly. If they are ok, then I think its worth the money.

Just out of curiosity , Does the certain variants of D8 came with climate controlled AC ?

yes, D8 executive anyway came with climate control.

Uk used D8 non executives too came with climate control and very few of this model running around here.
