Cr41 Temperature Gage Not Working

My dear friends,

I want little help from yours. I have Toyota CR41 with 2C manual engine and Gear box. The problem is engine temperature gage is not showing me engine temperature properly. I replaced temperature meter, temperature gage and thermostat valve with original from Toyota. But problem still same. When engine heat it only come to “C” level. If engine cooled it come to below “C” but it should come to between “C” and “H” when engine in working temperature. Can someone help me to solve this problem?

Did u check on the temperature sensor? and also there can be an issue with the wiring harness.. better check that out too..

wiring clip on temp sensors have the knack of coming loose at times. also as tiv says it can be the sensor itself.

can you tel me how to check the wiring harness? the temperature gage work little. if the wiring harness is not working how the temperature gage is working until "C"

Earth the wire connector which is attached to the temperature probe/sensor. Then the gauge should indicate boiling Point. This way you can test the gauge and wiring
