Nope he's talking about a Mk1 convertible that was advertised on AL at one point for "2.5 Million, No offers"

I'm seeing black colour MK1 or MK2 daily running in Kandy - Matale road towards the matale. It got the two light just like the Harshan's one. And with very nice cosmetic condtion.

Nice eye catcher. Does anyone knows the owner and little bit about the car.

i have an experience a thing in most of the European cars . i noticed a nicefragrance you get inside the car no matter how old the car is( if its well maintained inside).i felt this in my bro's vw golf in UK, plus my golf here in SL and also in my friends opel astra , i dont no where the fragrance comes from. bout i really like it. any idea about this please.

I don't think there's something call original VW fragrance or Volvo fragrance etc, it's just the smell of the materials used inside .. as long as they use same materials, you'll get the same fragrance.

Try "new car scent" of Little trees range, available at most of the Arpico S' markets.

It comes in a tree shape card, you can't miss.

(It wasn't ok for me, I'm kinda hard to please <_< )

not a conversion, MK II diesels s came with 31 - 9XXX onwards and bearing 32 - numbers mostly.

i have spot this on matale and the owner of this car is a spare parts business man and he is very happy with car and he said it's the only VW golf mk2 on kandy.
