What To Buy For 2.5M

Hi guys,

My budget is around 2.5 million and I am looking for a car that has a good resale value and bit comfortable. It will be better if it is not older than 7 or 8 years. What would you suggest for me?

Good resale, then you're looking at a jap, specifically a toyota i imagine. Hey you want a hatchback or something you can stuff a body into? Carina would be over 7 years old, right? How about a Vitz? Belta/Yaris? Or stretch ya budget a bit and get a 121, they're like fine antiques, each year they appreciate lol.

As stated the topic was discussed early. But after go through the vehicles listed recently, Now its bit confusin. As I see its may be due to new tax. Since I plan to come back to SL even I am having the same issue. A vehicle for 2.5 mil? 121 is good, but seems prices were increased dramatically. How about vios, demio (2008 may be), swift (Japanese 2008)or any other. Your thoughts highly appreciated.

Al though the carina is over 9 years old a good maintained one will give you a trouble free and comfortable ride. and it has a good resale value.

If you are looking for a newer one what about the 2003 FB15 face lift or the N16 face lift?

Check on a doctor permit Toyota Yaris 1.3 . Since the 3 years are up they'll be transferable as well. Plus you'll be getting a 07/08 car.

You may be right, but I think doctor permits are 5 years.

You will not be able to buy a 2008 Demio or 2008 Swift for this price, they are around 2.7M.

Yes. even 10 years old (2000 model) 121 is well above your budget.

dudes, the OP's looking for a comfortable car. Correct me if Im wrong but when considering comfortability do these hatchbacks come any where near carinas, corollas or sunnys?

When checking some sunday papers last week I found a couple of registered 1.0 Vitz for 2.4m
