Hi,

Do you know any hyundai importers? (used vehicles). I know there are lot of cars which has been imported from singapore around 2003-2005. But it seems after that only Hyundai lanka(pvt) is the option. If you know any importers please let me know.

Thanks.

The Singapore imports where not that good and those where that gave a bad reputation to hyundai and Kia (eg- old accent,sonata,...)

So don't think of buying the Singapore imports.

The ones that come from Korea r of better quality.

That's why car sales have not bothered to bring them down.

But if u request the car sales will bring one down for u,

but it will be a mistake,

it will be better to spend a little more and buy an original Korean one from the agents.

Thanks for the information.

problem of buying a brand new korean is that after two years time the value will depreciate to 1/3 of its original value.

I don't think they r going to depreciate that much because,

2yr old new elentras ceratos i10s and i20s going for just 100k or 200k below the brand new price

@MAS

I don't know that but the reconditions coming from Singapore have an inferior build quality,

this is also seen in some euros coming second hand(that is because not been acclimatised)

Does anyone import cars from Singapore any more?

One of the reasons why Singapore imported vehicles gained a bad reputation was because they were used as rent-a-cars there and they were run to the ground. Some even came from places like Malaysia and Indonesia.
