Hi all, What are the additional costs involved in buying a used car, apart from repairs of course, What are the documents that I need to pay for, Please shed some light :)

Transfer fee+ 02 Photograps . Papers are free of charge.

The car I'm gonna have a look tomorrow has to perform a double transfer (That's what the owner said ), What is actually a double transfer ? the guy said he bought the car from a car sale and didn't get it transferred it to him, is it legal, I'm confused, will I have to face legal issues later on :-/

that's mean the owner have been using the vehicle as open papers not registering to his name as for your case now owner is buy it from a car sale so there is a very high chance that car sale owner is a using it as open papers too if that happen when transfer the vehicle to your name first vehicle must transfer to car sale owner from the previous owner and then to the now owner and then to your name then it will become triple transfer so careful when you buy it fella. :)

Well, if the initial owner has signed the 'open' papers MTA6 - then it's a single transfer.

That seems to be the whole purpose of this open papers business.

Not that I approve of it.
