Corolla Seat Belt

I have seen passenger seat belt waring indicator in Corolla 110s in YOM 1999~2000, it is at the middle of center AC vent.

Is there any sensor/switch in front passenger seat other than in the seat belt tension unit? (it works only when the front seat is occupied)

I had a Corolla 110 Rivera. The sensor was inside the seat.

Passenger sensor (for all corollas that has one) is a pressure-sensitive device fitted underneath the seat cushion, not anywhere else.

bit OT: My 1994 Sunny (B13) has wires coming to the buckle but it doesn't have any seat belt wearing indicator. What could be the reason ?

@NRX FB13 has only 1 seat belt indicator in dashboard that is for Driver side. have never seen one for passenger side. Same in Fb14 as well. no idea about your case. In Corolla 110 yes there is a indicator for front passenger it's indicates only the seat is occupied & not seat belt buckled. as other's state it's inside the seat working as a pressure sensor.

My indicator doesn't work then

BTW, in mine wires come to both driver and passenger seat belt buckles though it doesn't indicate when I'm or the passenger is not wearing the seat-belt

in your case if the dash board bulb is ok check the wiring also the connector under your seat.

Hmm, may be the previous owner disconnected it from the harness
