Hello

I have a Japanizes 2 door Suzuki Alto car. Sometime back my mechanic removed the thermostat. Recently I did a tune-up and they said that I should fixed the thermostat back ,to get the best performance. Now I don’t have the removed thermostat as a sample to buy a new one. Can anyone help me to find the specifications/part number of the Suzuki Alto thermostat? Engine Capacity is 650CC and the model is LA-HA238. EOM is 2002

Thank you

rashita,

AS you do not have the sample you have to get the correct part number.

Best is to try at agents A*W. Kithulwatthe Road, spare parts division. Contact number 2674776 -7 Hot line 2674778 Mr. Kapila. They have a work shop also there you can consult their engineer for your problem.

Next to Borrella cemetery road 1st turn to left to words Police transport division the new blood bank, Applo hospital, road.

You did not request the tune up repair place to buy the part and fix up. it is their duty to correct all your engine problems which is necessary for tuning the engine, with your approval, replace parts which is wanted for tuning the engine.

They are agents for Suzuki, not just Maruti so they should have the part. Unfortunately when you don't have a sample that is the easiest way to get the correct part. Otherwise you will have to find a service manual for your engine/car and track down the part number from there.

Rashita,

Almost all thermostats do the same job as for my knowledge they open operate at a correct temperature to maintain the Engine running temperature, so if you can get a mechanic to open out your radiator top inlet, get the correct size of the thermostat, you will be able to find one. Still try with A*W engineer at K-watthe road some times they will have one which will fit into your car. For Japanese most Indian parts fit in.

If i may ask, cant you just ask the smarty pants mechanic who removed the thermostat to return it or give the part number ?
