jake_harper
Does an engine actually need special attention after an overhaul? (assuming the mechanic has done a perfect job) What is the reason behind driving at a moderate speed (40) for a while? Or is it a baseless precaution? And it is the previous owner who has done the repair. After a rough calculation I doubt the after repair mileage might be less than 10k. Expand We don't know if the work was done professionally at a work shop or by a road side garage geese monkey under a jack tree. the tolerances will therefor depend on the quality of the mercenary used in the overhaul.
