fuel consumption wise-honda insight will do much better than toyota allion

driving pleasure wise-i think both cars are same but some say honda insight have more driving pleasure than toyota allion

good looks-toyota allion 240

second hand market value wise-toyota allion have more but that been said honda insight is a newer car than toyota allion

good luck fella

Allion 240 does very good on fuel! For a hybrid Honda insight doesn't do as much fuel as a Toyota Prius... second hand value the Allion will always have better second hand value... Running cost again Allion is cheap to run where as the insight the battery alone cost more than 200,000/- ...

Try and go for Allion 2005 upwards.. But again ur budget will have to be 3.7(2005)-4.3(2007)

Looks: Allion wins the show again

Comfort: Allion

Prestige: Allion

Allion would be a better buy any day!!!

One is a relative unknown. The other a proven workhorse. What you chose is very dependent on your risk appetite :) The novelty can sometimes wear off quite quickly.

Undiscovered?? why one earth would you want that?

I think another way to look at the same thing is the known devil is sometimes better than the unknown saint :)

Honda insight all the way! Would you choose your new wife to be old and barren or young and undiscovered? ;)

Experience does count.....

I do not recomend Honda Insight as it is 1300cc. better if we have it before the Highway in SL.

I don't think the 1300CC matters as it's a Hybrid and the wheels are driven by Electric motors assisted by a battery.

out of these two i would pick the Allion, but instead of the Allion you could go for the Premio, it looks more posh than the Allion and i guess it'll be easier for you to find a 1.8L Premio than a 1.8L Allion
