I got repaired my radiator of ma van (Nissan Vanette) cleaned coz i had a radiator block.And earlier I have been using coolant.even though today the radiator repair people said dont use coolant it will damage the radiator by using coolant coz it has some unsuitable chemical and all.so right now i am using water in it.eventhoygh i want to know why he is telling not to use and its good or not ? plz help

i havent heard of coolant damaging the radiators. coolant actually extend the life of the radiators.

We were having this discussion just last week or the week before on coolants.

Basically you dont NEED coolant. Normal tap-water will do just fine. You should look up the thread from last week for more details
