Yep in the second one also he narrowed the gap to only a few feet after falling behind badly so well done DD.

Ashan once again showed his experience and sneaked a win behind everyone's eyes so well done to him also

Was an awesome race, fortunately Pasindu is still okay even after the flip.

If not for the bad launch on the 2nd round, DD would have taken that too.

I saw in papaers both had scored 5 points, according to R&R it had been given to PP. May be as he was the last time champion..not sure though.

I think it's because SLARDAR declares the car division SuperFox based on the results of SL 'GT' Race 2. Can somebody who knows for sure confirm?

The championship era has been a great thing for racing in Sri Lanka and all, but I miss the mixed grids of the 'Fastest 15' event they used to conduct back in the day - the winner of this race would be declared the SuperFox for cars. Its not a huge difference as the GT cars would invariably win, but it was nice to see some other entries mixing it up as well.
