Can anybody let me know Gift permit (or any other permit) is still available for Sri Lankan citizens who are working abroad?
According to government's website these permits are suspended since December 2011(http://www.imexport....-events〈=en). But I have no idea whether they again started issuing these permits or not.
I have been working abroad for more than 2 and half years now and I have sent money (more than 20,000 USD) to Sri Lanka. I have evidence (NRFC account details) to prove my remittance to Sri Lanka. Is there anyway I can import a car older than 2 years?
Just to let you know that I have updated AL forum software to prevent spamming activities. Will closely monitor for the next few days. Happy motoring guys... 😊
So since I noticed bad fuel in the tank. Ended up doing a full tuneup. Now gonna stick to IOC super diesel. need to get another sample to check on this afterwards.
Sold me Rav4 because of certain future plans, now I am wondering what to do? Should I rent a car for a few days or buy a small cheap (reliable) run about that I can sell quickly. Not for daily driving but to go about the weekend shift and probably one or two trips. Heart says rent, but its going to be quite expensive.
