Any decent place should be able too change shocks without destroying the car. Unless you drive a citreon or something you should be fine taking it to the nearest garage (well somewhere with people who aren't brain dead).

Im in Col-6, Its a l200 4X4. The passenger side shock absorber has been leaking oil for some time now.

I think he meant a Mitsubishi L200 double cab!

As jD said, replacing a shock aint a biggie. Most decent garages should be able to handle something like that.
