Idle RPM and HC level seem to be on the high side. CO is also a bit on the high side. Apart from that others seem to be fine ( I'm not 100% sure though)

But I don't think this needs any immediate attention :)

The green tes as done in Sri Lanka is a BIG SCAM!!! The only thing I use the damn report is to get the revenue license. It is another way the government collect money for their coffers.

That's all that piece of paper is good for. Don't waste your breath worrying about what they say about the results of the test.

BTW not sure about how the systek works these days but when this crap started out, people would just take a car that's running well and can pass the test and just put the license plate number of the one that will probably fail. All it's done is increase the amount of bribes taken in an maligawatte.

Did a test at 2 different places and the results were different. If the paper was softer, could've used it for toilet paper I suppose.

That so correct, coz I did test from E#o S#i @ Dem#tag#da La#g#s station but was failed. If I’m not mistaken they looking 3 results, all were passed but final result was failed due to variance of the result were above the given value.

But I did it from Dr#ve Gr#en at Malabe-Kaduwela place after 1 week without doing any, the final result was passed

Hi,sorry to dig up an old thread.

What about diesel reports from gogreen? They only check particle matter/smoke density -k(l/m)and not NOx?

The tdi got 1.3average,1.5max readings at around 4000rpm.somewhere in The report says max limit/criteria is 8. Result was pass..what would you expect with a more modern diesel engine,I am curious.to decide what kind of engine repairs will be needed in the coming year.

@ 3 rpms 3900,4150,3900

Measured opacity % 28,40,43

Standard opacity % 3.5,5.4,6

Smoke density -k(l/m) 0.9,1,4,1.55

And somewhere it says pass limit -k(l/m) 8.

No mention about CO,lamda like a petrol report.

The below information by VVTi is the ONLY thing you need to know about emission tests in Sri Lanka:

Oh,I thought it had more value than a toilet paper. Judging by the way these "baccha kollas" at gogeeen/laughs giving advice to owners when their test had failed.
