Ac Magnetic Clutch Coil Rewinding

Hi All,

has anyone happened to rewind the compressor coil. can you recommand some places (PM me) which does good repair work.

my car AC suddenly stopped working and the technician who inspected told me compressor does not engage because the coil is burnt.

did anyone experience the same issue?

Try to find the price of a new one instead of trying to rewind it. Wouldn't cost much I suppose. Could be easily found in AC repair joints depending on your car model

If the coil is OK ; your system may be low on AC gas, if that's the case a mechanism prevents engaging the compressor to avoid damages.

Gas is at correct pressure. technician told me brand new ones are not available for Thai makes (vios). don't know whether it is true or not. anyone know where I can find a one?

Rewinding can be done, you will be able to find a good coil in Spare parts shops it will be under 1000.00 Rupees.

There are enough rewinding joints in Panchikawatthe who do rewinding of A/C Clutch coils. Driving down Technical College junction to Panchikawatthe.

yes. went to AC tech shop. they had already winded coils
