I hope this site is not already posted. (did a search)

this site shows almost all car models with User submitted fuel economy. obviously a US or UK site but we can get a idea which models are better at fuel economy than others :D

http://www.fuelly.com/

you can also check in different units: US | UK | L/100km | km/L

KM/L for our understanding..

amazingly Corolla is not doing good fuel economy as they say in SL :speechless-smiley-004:

Part of the problem is that Sri Lankans use and quote the highly inflated and inaccurate Japanese fuel economy test results. The new Japanese JC08 test is better than the old 10-15 mode test, but JC08 still returns highly inflated numbers. The EPA fuel economy test that the American govt does http://www.fuelecono.../findacar.shtml is a much more accurate and precise test than the Japanese test, and returns fuel economy results that are much, much closer to what owners get in real world driving.

34mpg is quite a bit less than the rating. I've read a few reviews of the Civic Hybrid where they got the rated 44mpg, and hybrid cars.com hypermiled it to 68mpg http://www.hybridcar...brid-29764.html.

No doubt when the plug-in Prius arrives in SL sellers will be advertising it as getting the Japanese 57km/l rating, even though that number is not achievable in normal driving.
