hi guys,

my vehicle has auto gear box problem,if you know a competent mechanic or place to rectify the issue in kandy or kurunegala. pls help me.

Hi ATF, You will get better feedback if you explained what your problem with the ATF system is.

if you say what's the problem it would be easy for others to help on it. And do a search in forum it has been discussed ample. And i agree some of the threads are 5-6 years old and those facts may not be upto date.

First of all change your automatic oil with recommended oil. Fill into the standard level and check.usually those issues get settled with oil change.some advises

to remove oil sump and replace the oil completely.

If it's not, get ready for the next step.

my prob is gear shifting jerk & i read this forum & think the issue is line pressure. that is why i asking a person to suit that job . i have changed oil & cleaned the strainer.(some kind of metal net) no help on my problem.

Which model is your car? Also use the search feature as there are a number of relevant topics and contact details of mechanics. The problem is I don't recall any of those guys being based in Kandy.....

Go to the agents and get a scan done by them. ask for the report too. get their opinion. With this details you will be able to understand the problem on better grounds
