Vios 2003 Auto

Hi All,

A friend of mine got a VIOS 2003 S Auto and he has changed the filters including air filter, done a service including oil change and also done an engine tune up as well. Now the car does only 7.5Km per liter in city limit and "Baas" has said its normal for city limits. However I think it needs to do more than that and as I am not much aware of it, can you all post something about it please? Thanks in advance.

How does your friend drive his car? In really bad traffic, I struggle to do even 8km/l in my Vios, and it's usually around 8.5 or so. If I make the same trip after 7:30pm, I can touch 11.

If you want to check fuel consumption accurately, you will absolutely have to do two full tank fill ups. Anything else is anecdotal and cannot be relied upon.

Yes its how we measure it and think its the best way.
