Question

Hello people,

There is an oil leak near the starter of my suzuki swift. I got to know about it when i did an engine tune up. The person who did the tune and another mechanic told me that the oil seal should be changed. I want to know about a capable place near dehiwala from where can i buy the oil seal and a good person near dehiwala who can change this for me. Roughly how much will it cost??$$$? Thanks in advance.

Hello Web Designer Umair,

Firstly it would be a lot of help if you could explain which seal it is... if you dont know the name, take a photo and share it here. It shouldn't be too complex maybe a couple of hours work by any average mechanic.

When we open the cover which is inside the bonet. There will be something like 2 rubber like clips on each side under one clip there is the starter and under the nother clip there is a whole. Inside that only there is an oil leak. If you dont understand ill put a picture. Let me know please... and thanks for ur reply watchman.

Go to pushpakumara near nedimala bo tree or to lalith on nedimala-anderson road junction or saman on vihara lane wellawatte (close to vihara lane bridge). any of them should be able to handle it.

I dont know these suggested mechanics but i'm pretty sure they can't fix it over the phone. Just go there. Even if you try to explain the issue over the phone to a mechanic, you really cant get an accurate diagnosis IMO.
