Hi

Need an advice from all , i have a carina AT212 manual car.

Have to replace or repair ECU 89661-2D760 for 5AFE ,manual trans. Car.

Thought of buying a new one ,

Please let me know any shop or can i replace it with AE110 ECU ?

there are ample of shops around delakanda area.............. go with your ECU or with the part number............ shoudn't be difficult to find.

finding ECU for carina in hard specially for manual car and yes you can replace your ECU with AE110 ECU.

Do I have to do any modifications to match my Ecu ?

If you change the ECU as unmatched you will face to some electrical faults.Even OBD scanner can not realize some faults when occur

Mate the first question is are you CERTAIN that the problem is with the ECU?

Many mechanics interpret issues with sensors and other electrical problems as ECU defects. There are many instances where the ECUs have been replaced and the issue still exist.

Did you get a 2nd opinion before this brain surgery?
