Hi All,

Sudden failure of drive belt (breakage) would be a very unpleasant experience especially in a mid of a long drive. Same happened to one of my relative during his visit to my home. However, he managed to come to the destination since this occured just 3 km away from the destination.

Guys:

What are they symptoms of failing drive belt (the drive belt concerned has done 58000 km (kyron), without a a significant belt noise, cracks - not checked in the last service)

Is there a time interval for replacing the belt

If somebody experience a drive belt failure at a very crucial situation, is it good to drive the vehicle keeping eye on the vehicle temp-gauge.
