Good Car Seat Repair Shop

Hi everyone,

Hope you all are doing good. Forgive me if I created a duplicate topic but after searching the forum I found topics related to car seat covers/cushioning but not with repair.

One of my front seats upper part has broken and now it moves freely. It doesn't lock in a position. It would be great if anyone of you know a good genuine place to get it repaired.

Also my door locks are not working precisely. Some locks not working at all. Appreciate if you can point me a good place to service and repair the locks as well.

I had the same issue with my van middle seat. Got a seat repair shop in Kandy to redo it. He removed the whole spring lock section and re-welded it with an identical new set. that thing standing solid for last 3-4 years. Afterwards I had a problem with the rotating mechanism, still couldn't find a place to repair it.

Found.. just go to any cushion/seat work place in Vijerama. Mine was a very simple cause that the bolt has gone loose. But they are very professional in what they do. :-)

Your topic is interesting. he he I hope I am one of the most experienced person in searching for cushion makers in Colombo. I spent more than Rs.30,000 fuel to search good people in this trade.

I will give you a list of places better you highlight and check with them through internet seach on car seat covers in srilanka.then you will find good seat cushion & repair makers

In pasyala there is a place called edirisinghe chushion house ,V*P car interiors srilanka,gunawardena cushion,maharagama cushion

Nawala cushion is very expensive for small work since they have too much worker

I did my work from a show room called custom car tailors based in maradana in t.b.jaya mawatha oppersite excel world entrance.

Do a internet seach and get the number.they are experience people.

I had a problem withmy rear hand rest.micro told they need to replace the unit which cost me Rs.17,000 but they made it and gave me didn’t charge a sent.the boss is a good man
