Leak From Oil Seal - Toyota Axio

Noticed a little oil drip and I thought the engile oil cap was not tightned after the service. When I took back the guy at the service station checked it and said the leak is from the oil seal. (between the engine and the gear box). Does anyone know more details about this? I beleive the gear box has to be mounted down to repair this. Thanks

If you noticed the leak immediately after a service, then wipe the area clean first and see if it re-appears before coming to conclusions.
