Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 - Car Speed Up And Slows When Ac Off And Ac On Respectively

This is My first post in Autolanka forum.

I have being a regular reader of this forum and i have learned a lot from this. So I would like to thank all of the contributors who provide valuable advises and information about autos.

I recently bought a Alto 800. (year 2009/mileage 50000 km). while i am driving i experience car speed up and slows (not a big margin but clearly identified) when the AC goes off and AC on. I have driven a fb 14 before and this change in speed is hardly feels. I think the lack of power of Alto causing this. But I would like to have your expert knowledge on this. Is this a normal thing or can this be corrected?

As i can see if you feel this is happening while ac on\off it might be due to the a\c idle up mechanism. can you feel the same when vehicle is in IDLE status?

You're comparing a 1500cc engine with one that's roughly half it's size. I've owned a maruti and an alto. What you're experiencing is completely normal. And there's nothing you can do about it.

But do get your idle up mechanism checked, and a tune up (intake manifold, sensor cleanup, spark plug cleanup/replacement, injectors cleaned ultrasonically) you might notice a slight improvement.
