These 2 sizes seem a perfect fit.

165/65R14 = 22.4x6.5R14
195/55R14 = 22.4x7.7R14
The size you suggested results in an increase of 2.7% of the overall diameter of the wheel.
175/65R14 = 23x6.9R14 +2.7%

My personal suggestion is try to get as close to the original overall diameter of the wheel as possible. Thay way your spedometer stays in sync, your brakes etc work properly and your fuel economy wont suffer.

Another issue is when the width is increased significantly, tire might hit on the side of the fender when car is loaded. I still have this issue.
[ when I was looking for a solution, one suggested a method to roll the fender using a base ball bat. still couldn't do it... :sad-smiley-067: ]
